DNA has been involved in the development of a number of major IT projects including:
Environmental Management Information System (EMIS)
This information system is currently under development, funded by the European Union, for the Environmental Protection Department of the Government of the northern part of Cyprus.
The system is wholly internet based and is aimed at supporting the regulatory and reporting functions of the EPD. The system enables registered waste and wastewater generators and handlers to submit periodic data va an online system.
The system will also facilitate EuroStat waste reporting functions.
System runs on a dedicated Linux server, uses exclusively open source components, developed using the Laravel framework.
Zejiang Province Waste Management Information System
This information system was developed for the Zejiang Environmental Protection Bureau. The system is fully internet based.
Environmental Monitoring Management System (EMMS)
This information system was developed to store all of the environmental monitoring data during the development of the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway (MTR) extension to the new airport at Chek Lap Kok.
The system generated graphical trends showing performance against trigger, action and target levels for each parameter monitored and generated compliance reports for submission to the Hong Kong Government.
Document and Workflow Managment System (DWMS)
DWMS is an electronic document and workflow management system capable of storage and retrieval of large numbers of documents. This system has been under continuous development since 1990 when it was initially developed for Windows 3.1 using Visual Basic with Microsoft Access database, the last desktop version was 10.3. National Industrial Hazardous Waste Management System (NIHWMS)
The NIHWMS is a Russian Federation wide system for storing regulatory data connected with industrial and hazardous waste management.
Development platform: C and SQL Server.
Singapore Emissions Inventory (SEMI)
This database was developed to store emissions (air, water and waste) data for Singapore. It calculates generation factors by industrial sector and can be used to project total emissions and compare individual companies performance.
